Training for the Officials of Kosova Institutions of Central and Local Level

The National Agency for Personal Data Protection in cooperation with Kosova Institute for Public Administration organized a two days training course for the officials of central and local institutions on 25 and 26 of March 2013. The aim of this activity was to provide new information on the Law on Personal Data Protection for data protection officials who directly implement the law and duties given by the Agency. The main objectives of such a training were the following: offering new information regarding Agency’s duties and responsibilities; obligations of their institutions; their own duties and responsibilities; concretization of lawful manners of personal data procession as well as provision of knowledge on the ways of personal data procession. Facilitators of the above training course were the following national supervisors: Mr. Bekim Demiri and Mr. Mentor Hoxhaj. The intensive training lasted for two days, whilst the interest of data protection officials in both local and central institutions was considerable.
