In the framework of capacity building, the officers of the National Agency for Protection of Personal Data lead by the Deputy Chief National Supervisor, Mr. Bekim Demiri, participated in the study visit in Sofia.
The study visit was financially supported by the IPA project/EU in cooperation with Human Dynamics, and by the counterpart authority in Bulgaria.
NAPPD delegation was hosted by the Commission for Personal Data Protection, on which occasion was presented the organization of Bulgarian authority, as well as some handled case. In the following day, the delegation visited the Constitutional Court of Bulgaria and Alpha Bank, where in all meetings held was discussed in relation to the protection of personal data, management of personal data in specific sectors and their transfer, including the specific cases in the protection of personal data.
In the last day of this study visit, the Agency was hosted in a meeting by the Ambassador of Kosovo in Bulgaria, Mr. Shpend Kallaba, who was informed about the bilateral cooperation with Bulgarian authority, as well as about the function of the Agency in the importance of the protection personal data and privacy.
