Handbook for Municipal Officials distributed

In a meeting organized by the Ministry of Local Government, Deputy Chief National Supervisor Mr. Bekim Demiri distributed the handbook on the protection of personal data dedicated to municipal officials for European integration

Under the organization of the Ministry of Local Government, were invited municipal officials for European integration and regional non-governmental organizations, in the premises of the government took place a meeting of informative character, wherein from the Agency were present: deputy Chief National Supervisor Mr. Bekim Demiri and the National Supervisor Mr. Aleksandar Spasić.
On this occasion, Mr. Demiri, after the distribution of the first handbook regarding the protection of personal data for municipal officials, addressed a speech to the attendees, noting that this document will serve as a guide to municipal officials in the process of protection of citizens' personal data, at the same time without restricting their right of access to public documents, which do not contain personal information.
The handbook is published in both official languages and includes five opinions issued by the Council of the Agency, addressing the issues raised by various parties about privacy and access to public documents.
