Sectoral Training Cycle Concluded

The Agency, in cooperation with the EU project ‘Support to Kosovo Institutions in the Field of Protection of Personal Data‘, concluded the third day of this cycle. The training was organized with representatives of the legal departments of state institutions.
Lecturer at this training was the former deputy commissioner of the Slovenian authority, Mrs. Rossana Lemut-Strle, as the expert hired by the IPA Project.
Among other things, in this training was highlighted that the protection of personal data is a new challenge in Kosovo, to which the Agency, in various forms is trying to increase the citizens' awareness through events of this kind. By selecting specific sectors, that in a way have direct relation to the processing, storage or even publication of personal data, there could not be disregarded legal officers of the state institutions, which are the main points that have to apply the provisions of national legislation.
