In the framework of international cooperation, the National Agency for Protection of Personal Data, today signed a memorandum of cooperation with the italian counterpart authority, whereas tomorrow will sign another memorandum of the same nature with the Hungarian counterpart authority.

Invited by the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Hungary, Chief National Supervisor Mr. Ruzhdi Jashari, National Supervisor Mr. Bekim Demiri and the International Relations Director Mr. Jeton Arifi, are participating in the work of the Spring Conference of European counterpart authorities, which this year is being held in Budapest, Hungary.

The Head of the Agency, Mr. Jashari, along with his italian counterpart Mr. Antonello Soro, during the proceedings of this conference, solemnly signed a memorandum of cooperation, under which the two signatory authorities will start the exchange of experts, sharing information, sharing of the best practices in the field of data protection, the scope of cooperation the organization of common projects with interest of the both institutions at the regional and international level.

These two agreements also mark a further step in the development of international relations more practical in the field of protection of personal data.
