During the visit to Albania, the Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Krenare Sogojeva Dërmaku, was hosted in a meeting by the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Mrs. Ermonela Felaj, and the Commissioner for Freedom of Information and Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Besnik Dervishi.

Mrs. Felaj congratulated the Commissioner, Mrs. Sogojeva Dërmaku, and noted the importance of supporting independent institutions as well as the experience of the Albanian Parliament in supporting the Commissioner for Freedom of Information and Protection of Personal Data.

Kosovo’s Information and Privacy Commissioner, Mrs. Krenare Sogojeva Dërmaku, thanked the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Mrs. Ermonela Felaj, for the meeting and noted the close cooperation with the Commissioner for Freedom of Information and Protection of Personal Data of Albania, expressing the need of cooperation between the two countries in the field of information and personal data protection.
