“Personal Data Protection Week” – The Information and Privacy Agency welcomes a group of final year students from the Faculty of Law through the Center for Professional Education, organized by the Kosovo Institute for Law (IKD) within the activities of the Legal Clinic

The students were informed about the work and mandate of the Agency and its importance in the implementation of the Law on Protection of Personal Data and the Law on Access to Public Documents.

The students had the opportunity to discuss directly with the representatives of the Agency, namely the Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Mrs. Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku and the General Director, Mrs. Lumnije Demi, for the Agency’s role as an important institution in the supervision and guarantee of the right to privacy and the right to information.

The Commissioner, Mrs. Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, called on students to submit complaints to the Information and Privacy Agency every time they identify cases of difficulties in accessing information and non-respect of personal data.
