“Personal Data Protection Week” – The Information and Privacy Agency continues the activities of the Personal Data Protection Week – Information Meeting with the Regional Water Company “Hidromorava”

In order to raise the awareness of public and central enterprises about the implementation of the Law on Protection of Personal Data, the Commissioner, Mrs. Krenare Sogojeva Dermakj, and the General Director of the Agency, Ms. Lumnije Demi have held a meeting with representatives of KRU “Hidromorava”, respectively with the Chief Executive Mr. Ymer Salihu, Chairman of the Board, Mrs. Filloreta Gashi Sadiku and the Company Secretary, Mrs. Ajsun Sadiku.

The meeting focused on discussions about the need to adjust the invoicing process, namely the envelope of invoices that must be in compliance with the principles of personal data protection. Also, with special emphasis, the appointment and training of the personal data protection officer was discussed, which is an obligation defined in the relevant legislation.

The Commissioner of the Agency expressed her readiness to provide the professional support of the AIP to ensure the protection of the personal data of the citizens of Kosovo.
