“Personal Data Protection Week” – Marking the International Day of Personal Data – Information Meeting with the Regional Water Company “Hidrodrini” in Peja

The drafting of legal regulations and the observance of privacy policies that determine the collection, processing and storage of personal data of citizens and the creation of the best billing practices in accordance with the legal obligations defined by the relevant legislation, were the main points of discussion today between representatives of the Agency for Information and Privacy and representatives of the Regional Water Company “Hidrodrini” in Peja.

In the meeting between the Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, the General Director of the Agency, Lumnije Demi and the representatives of KRU Hidrodrini – the Chairman of the Board Mr. Jusuf Nikçi, Chief Executive Mr. Dri Cena, Company Secretary Mrs. Kreshnike Dreshaj, and the Personal Data Protection Officer, Ms. Hana Begolli, discussed the necessity of applying professional standards for the protection of personal data during the provision of services by the company to citizens.

Commissioner, Mrs. Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku requested from the representatives of the Regional Water Company “Hidrodrini” in Peja that during the provision of services, they should prioritize the protection of citizens’ personal data.
