The Information and Privacy Agency continues its informative meetings with the Mayors of the Municipalities of Gjakova and Deçan.

The Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, today held two separate meetings with the Mayor of the Municipality of Gjakova, Ardian Gjini, and with the Mayor of the Municipality of Deçan, Bashkim Ramosaj to promote the right to protection of personal data and access to public documents.

The Commissioner discussed the Transparency Program, which aims to promote the proactive publication of public documents by the Municipalities. Also, she emphasized the importance of drafting and publishing Privacy Policies, strengthening the role of officials for the protection of personal data and access to public documents, as well as for the anonymization of personal data during the publication of documents produced by the Municipality, especially anonymization of sensitive data.
