With the meeting held today with donors-supporters of the Agency, the week of activities marking the International Day of Personal Data Protection has closed.
The meeting focused on the realization of the Agency’s joint activities during 2023 and plans for 2024. Among other things, the Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Mrs. Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, expressed gratitude to the donors for achieving the objectives and fulfilling the mission of the Agency, emphasizing the importance of their contribution towards the promotion of the right to protection of personal data and access to public documents.
For the indispensable role in supporting the Agency’s work towards a society aware of personal data protection and increasing transparency and accountability, the Commissioner thanked the participants: U.S Embassy Pristina, Kosovo, British Embassy Pristina, Embassy of the Netherlands in Kosovo, European Union in Kosovo, OSCE Mission in Kosovo, GIZ Kosovo, Community Development Fund – CDF, Council of Europe Office in Pristina, RIT Kosovo Peace & Conflict Studies.
The continuation of collaborations towards the promotion of the right to protection of personal data and access to public documents were the conclusions with which the week of activities to mark the International Day of Personal Data Protection was concluded.
