The Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Mrs. Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, reported today at the meeting of the Committee on Security and Defense, on the Performance Plan of the Information and Privacy Agency for the year 2024, where she presented the strategic objectives of the Agency for the year 2024 towards the realization of the right to access to information and personal data protection.

In particular, the Commissioner emphasized ensuring the implementation and respect of privacy policies in public and private institutions, the development of the transparency program for the pro-active publication of information and documents by public institutions, the development of the legal framework for the protection of personal data, strengthening of partnership with international institutions and counterpart institutions at the regional and international level and the organization of information campaigns for the promotion of the right to the protection of personal data and access to public documents.

Also, the Agency has been informed that the Commission for Security and Defense Affairs has approved the Performance Plan for 2024.
