The collaboration between the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo and the Agency for Information and Privacy is strengthened

Commissioner of the Agency for Information and Privacy, Ms. Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, during the meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Ahmet Ismaili, discussed the possibilities of coordinating the actions of both institutions with the aim of protecting personal data.

 The discussion focused on the potential enhancement of collaboration through the coordination of joint activities with financial institutions. Among other things, the Governor and the Commissioner agreed that both institutions should adapt the legal framework, which will serve as a guideline for financial institutions.

At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that cooperation agreements will be made for the coordination of processes between CBK and AIP.
