Commissioner of the Information and Privacy Agency, Mrs. Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Mr. Michael Davenport to discuss the focus of the Agency’s work in 2024

During this meeting, an agreement was reached to assist the OSCE in ways through which the Agency can build its capacities, with particular emphasis on:
 Helping minority communities to promote the right to access and protect privacy, ensuring that relevant data is made available in all official languages;
 Continuation of cooperation with municipalities in building transparent governance through ensuring effective access to public documents, and at the same time guaranteeing the protection of personal data;
Engagement of Civil Society Organizations and journalists for their role in using access to information to inform the public about the work of public institutions.
The Commissioner expressed her gratitude to Ambassador Davenport and the OSCE Mission for their help and support in raising the awareness of citizens regarding the right of access to public documents and the protection of personal data, acting as an important partner in this field.
