Study Visit of the Information and Privacy Agency’s Officials to the Slovenian Counterpart Authority

Within the framework of the European Union’s Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX), officials from the Information and Privacy Agency conducted a study visit to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, with the aim of exchanging experiences and best practices in the field of personal data protection and access to public documents.

With a focus on strengthening institutional capacities and aligning with EU standards, the visit included:

Discussions on oversight mechanisms and the implementation of legislation on privacy and access to information;

Presentations on proactive transparency and practices in the management and review of access requests;

Exchange of experiences regarding inter-institutional and international cooperation in the field of privacy.
