Inter-institutional Meeting for Strengthening Transparency and Accountability in Public Prosecution

The Commissioner of the Agency for Information and Privacy, Ms. Krenare Sogojeva Drëmaku, together with the General Director of the Agency, Mrs. Lumnije Demi, welcomed to the meeting the Chairman of the KRPP, Mr. Osman Vishaj, KRPP Board Member, Mr. Avni Sahiti, Auditor General, Ms. Vlora Mehmeti Spanca, Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, Mr. Yll Buleshkaj, and the Chairman of the Board of PRB, Ms. Vjosa Gradinaj-Mexhuani.

This meeting marks an important initiative for strengthening the accountability of public institutions and ensuring a transparent public procurement system. The representatives of the institutions agreed to organize open discussions with public, private institutions and non-governmental organizations in order to raise awareness about the right of access to public documents, especially those related to public procurement procedures.
