Informative meetings with the Mayors of the Municipality of Kamenica and the Municipality of Gjilan continue

The Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Krenare Sogojeva Dërmaku, today held two separate meetings with the Mayor of the Municipality of Kamenica, Kadri Rahimaj and the Mayor of the Municipality of Gjilan, Alban Hyseni, to promote the right to protection of personal data and access to documents public.

The meeting discussed the legal obligations of municipalities to guarantee the realization of these two basic rights of citizens, namely the Commissioner discussed the Transparency Program and ensuring access to public documents, the drafting of Privacy Policies, as well as strengthening the role of officials responsible for personal data protection and access to public documents.
