The heads of the two institutions discuss the inter-institutional cooperation in complying with the right to information and protection of privacy

In the course of information meetings with Kosovo institutions, the Information and Privacy Commissioner, Ms. Krenare Sogojeva-Dermaku, held a meeting with the Chair of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Mr.Jetish Maloku, with whom they discussed the inter-institutional cooperation within the scope and legal responsibilities of the two institutions.
IPA Commissioner, Ms. Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, informed the KPC Chair, Mr.Jetish Maloku, of the mandate of the Information and Privacy Agency in relation to actions on the implementation of the Law on Access to Public Documents and the Law on Protection of Personal Data, and strategic IPA objectives to promote the right to information and the protection of privacy.
In the joint meeting, the heads of the two institutions agreed to cooperate in concrete areas in complying with the right to information and also the right to protection of personal data, through the enforcement of the legal mandate of both institutions.
