The Agency for Information and Privacy Conducts an Informative Meeting with the Mayor of the Municipality of Suhareka

Following the informative meetings with the Mayors of the Kosovo Municipalities, the Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, today held a meeting with the Mayor of the Municipality of Suhareka, Bali Muharremaj and his colleagues in order to promote the right to protection of personal data and access to public documents.

The meeting discussed the legal obligations of municipalities to guarantee the realization of these two basic rights of citizens, namely the Commissioner discussed the Transparency Program and ensuring access to public documents, the drafting of Privacy Policies, as well as strengthening the role of officials responsible for personal data protection and access to public documents.
