The Promotion of the Implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection Continues with Representatives from Kindergartens in Pristina

The Commissioner, Ms. Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, representing the Information and Privacy Agency, has continued the series of workshops aimed at promoting the implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection, this time with representatives from public and private kindergartens in Pristina.

During the meeting, the Commissioner emphasized the importance of lawful processing of children’s data and presented the application of security measures for safeguarding this information. In particular, she introduced methods of camera surveillance and photographing of children to ensure compliance with current legislation.

Participants raised numerous questions, expressing their interest in effective ways of processing and safeguarding sensitive data, such as children’s information, with the aim of fulfilling legal obligations and ensuring a secure environment for children.
