The Information and Privacy Agency concludes informational meetings with Public Companies to ensure the protection of citizens’ personal data

In the meetings held with the responsible officials of Public Companies, the Agency for Information and Privacy (AIP) has requested that the institutions ensure the implementation of appropriate security measures in the case of providing services to citizens (distribution of invoices) and establish the measures of appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure an adequate level of security against the possible risks of misuse of citizens’ personal data.

In the framework of awareness-raising activities for ensuring the protection of personal data, the Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Krenare Sogojeva Dërmaku, hosted the representatives of the Regional Waste Companies in a meeting, in which case the protection of citizens’ personal data was discussed during the provision of services for citizens.

Present at the meeting were: Chief of KRM “Eco-Hygjiena” in Gjilan, Senad Ramaj and Chairman of the Board, Gerhard Dummer, Chief of KRM “Çabrati” in Gjakova, Behar Ferizi and Chairman of the Board, Ardiana Çela-Baraku.
