The Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Krenare Sogojeva-Dërmaku, welcomes the Ambassador of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Tomáš Szunyog, to the Agency’s premises

During this meeting, the mutual cooperation between the EU Office and the AIP was discussed. Ambassador Szunyog emphasized the importance of fully respecting human rights, including the protection of personal data and access to public documents, as two key elements for Kosovo’s integration into the European Union.

Commissioner Sogojeva-Dërmaku thanked Ambassador Szunyog and the EU Office for their continuous support in the work of the Agency for Information and Privacy. She highlighted that the activities supported by the EU Office have succeeded in creating sustainable standards and the exchange of practices with the European authorities with which the Agency has cooperated.

The Commissioner, Krenare Sogojeva-Dermaku wished Ambassador Tomáš Szunyog further success in his future duties as he prepares to conclude his mandate in Kosovo.
