As part of its cooperation with stakeholders, the Agency for Information and Privacy organized a meeting with representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to discuss the Agency’s strategic orientations for 2025, as well as its Performance Plan for the current year.
During the meeting with NGO representatives, the Agency’s Commissioner, Ms. Krenare Sogojeva Dërmaku, presented the Agency’s objectives for 2025, which aim to increase the efficiency of the Agency’s work in alignment with the budget allocated for the year, in fulfilling legal obligations to ensure the protection of personal data and access to public documents.
The Agency’s objectives for 2025 are focused on advancing mechanisms for the protection of personal data, implementing a transparency program for the proactive publication of information and documents by Public Institutions, reviewing complaints, strengthening partnerships with international institutions and counterpart institutions at the regional level, as well as cooperating with interested parties in promoting the right to personal data protection and access to public documents.
The Agency for Information and Privacy remains committed to collaborating with Non-Governmental Organizations to ensure transparency and inclusiveness in the implementation of the Agency’s strategic policies, with the aim of promoting the right to personal data protection and access to public documents.
