The Information and Privacy Agency continues the activities of the Personal Data Protection Week – Information Meeting with the Regional Water Company “Bifurkacioni”.
The publication and observance of privacy policies and the protection of personal data were discussed today in the informative meeting between the representatives of the Agency for Information and Privacy and the Regional Water Company “Bifurkacioni”
In the framework of awareness-raising activities, the General Director of the Agency, Mrs. Lumnije Demi and the Head of the Division for Inspection and Control, Mr. Kushtrim Mustafa held a meeting with representatives of KRU “Bifurkacioni” S.A. – Ferizaj, the Chief Executive Officer Mr. Jeton Shabani and the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Naim Rexhaj, where they discussed the need to regulate the invoicing process, namely the envelope of invoices that are distributed to consumers, a process which must be in compliance with the principles of personal data protection. It was also discussed about the appointment of the officer responsible for the protection of personal data in the company who will serve in the implementation of the policies for the protection of citizens’ privacy.
The week for the protection of personal data will continue with informative activities with students, donors who support the Agency in fulfilling its mandate, as well as with representatives of public institutions.
