Collaborative meeting between the Information and Privacy Agency and the Electronic and Postal Communications Regulatory Authority (ARKEP)

In order to develop modalities for cooperation between AIP and ARKEP, the Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Mrs. Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku today held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ARKEP, Mr. Nazim Rahimi and his associates, in which case professional communication was ensured, which aims to guarantee a high level of protection of the personal data of Kosovo users from social networks operating in Kosovo.

This cooperation between AIP and ARKEP constitutes an important step towards strengthening the mechanisms for the realization of the right to protection of citizens’ personal data, especially in the context of the increased use of digital technologies and social networks.
