The Information and Privacy Agency concludes the cycle of workshops aimed at promoting the implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection

The Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Mrs. Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, completed the activities for the promotion of the Personal Data Protection Law by conducting workshops with officials of the Municipal Directorate of Education and representatives of public and private nurseries in the region of Peja.

Participants had the opportunity to explore critical aspects of the legal framework, namely the main principles of the law, the rights of data subjects, security measures and ways of processing children’s data, including the collection and processing of sensitive data through camera surveillance.

This initiative will serve in the development of guidelines for the processing of personal data from public and private nurseries and at the same time reflects the commitment of the Agency and its partners in building and maintaining a safe society from the violation of personal data.
