Municipality of Gracanica, within the deadline set by Decision no. 100/2022, dated on 20.04.2022, issued by the Information and Privacy Agency, regarding the legality of the processing of personal data through the camera surveillance system in public areas, has implemented the recommendations of the IPA and has announced that this whole system has been transferred to the Kosovo Police, respectively to the Police Station in Gracanica, in order to increase public safety. The whole process of transferring this system was done in the presence of IPA officials.
The Information and Privacy Agency is waiting for the implementation of other decisions issued for the municipalities that it has already inspected, and is continuing the inspection in other municipalities in order to oversee the implementation of Law no. 06 / L-082 on Personal Data Protection.
