The Commissioner for Information and Privacy meets the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Kosovo

Today the Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Mrs. Krenare Sogojeva Dërmaku, welcomed the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Kosovo, Her Excellency Mrs. Karin Hernmarck Ahliny, with whom they discussed issues of mutual cooperation.
The Commissioner informed the Ambassador about the role of the Agency for Information and Privacy in the field of personal data protection and access to public documents, as well as the current processes that are underway, including cooperation with local and international institutions in certain areas.
On the other hand, Ambassador Mrs. Karin Hernmarck Ahliny informed the Commissioner about the projects supported by the Kingdom of Sweden to public institutions and non-governmental organizations, which cover certain areas of their activities. Expressing the readiness to cooperate with the Agency for Information and Privacy, she stressed the importance of respecting the right of access to public documents and the protection of personal data.
At the end of the meeting, the Commissioner Mrs. Sogojeva-Dermaku, and Ambassador Karin Hernmarck Ahliny agreed to increase and advance the level of potential communication and future cooperation with the Agency in carrying out its mandate.
