The Information and Privacy Agency hosts a meeting of representatives of businesses that operate in the field of receiving and renting (leasing) cars.

During the meeting, which aimed to raise the awareness of businesses on the protection of personal data of customers, the Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, discussed the creation of appropriate practices for the protection of personal data during the provision of services to citizens, in accordance with the requirements of the legislation in force.

The representatives of businesses discussed the challenges during the management of personal data, where the Commissioner emphasized the need for a responsible and transparent approach in the handling of these data in order to guarantee the privacy and security of citizens’ data.
