The Commissioner for Information and Privacy welcomes the team that created the platform for identifying personal data leaks in a meeting

The Commissioner, Mrs. Krenare Sogojeva Dërmaku, today met with the professionals engaged in creating the platform to ensure the protection of personal data by identifying data leaks from public and private controllers, which is supported by the U.S. Embassy through the Department of Justice (INL).

This platform will enable the quick identification and reporting of data breach cases, serving as a preventive mechanism against potential misuse of citizens’ data and significantly improving the implementation of the Personal Data Protection Law.

As a sign of appreciation for their contribution, Commissioner Sogojeva Dërmaku presented certificates of appreciation to the team, emphasizing that such collaborations are essential for advancing the standards of personal data protection and creating a safer future for citizens and institutions in Kosovo.
