The Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Mr. Jonathan Hargreaves, visits the Information and Privacy Agency

Today, the Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Mrs. Proud Sogojeva-Dërmaku, welcomed the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kosovo, Mr. Jonathan Hargreaves, and Mrs. Sophie Wright, Head of Programmes, Economics and Governance, at the Information and Privacy Agency premises.

During the meeting, Commissioner Sogojeva-Dërmaku shared her personal experience and praised the Recruitment for Senior Management Positions project, emphasizing that the Project is an excellent example of transparent and merit-based recruitment.

Ambassador Hargreaves congratulated the Commissioner for the Agency’s work in promoting two fundamental rights of citizens, as well as for her commitment to the Network for the Empowerment of Women in Decision-Making Positions in the Public Sector, an initiative aimed at supporting women through training and mentoring, promote their professional advancement.

At the end of the meeting, Commissioner Sogojeva-Dërmaku expressed her gratitude to Ambassador Hargreaves, wishing him success in the beginning of his mission and emphasizing the importance of continuing the close cooperation between the Information and Privacy Agency and the Embassy of the United Kingdom
