The Agency for Information and Privacy (AIP), in cooperation with the Office for Strategic Planning of the Office of the Prime Minister, and with financial support from the European Union and Germany and implemented by GIZ Kosovo, organized today a roundtable discussion on the topic:
“Reducing the administrative burden through the Case Management System (CMS) for access to public documents.”
Among other things, the CMS Case Management System will contribute to:
Reducing the administrative burden in handling requests and complaints for access to public documents.
Improving transparency and accountability through more efficient monitoring of institutional performance.
Increasing institutional discipline, ensuring responsible and timely handling of each request.
Integration with the eKosova platform for easier and digitalized access for citizens, businesses and media.
Introductory remarks were made by the Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Ms. Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku, as well as representatives Mr. Kushtrim Canolli-
Administrative Burden Process Coordinator at the OPM and Mr. Arben Salihu- Component Manager at GIZ Kosovo, who emphasized the importance of this system as a step towards ensuring the realization of the right to access public documents, the implementation of legal obligations, and the strengthening of inter-institutional cooperation.
The roundtable included the active participation of representatives from public institutions and Officers Responsible for Access to Public Documents, issuing recommendations for the efficient implementation of the CMS system.
