The Information and Privacy Agency, in cooperation with the CiviKos Platform and the Institute for Technology and Society, continued the Regional Information Sessions on personal data protection, this time in the Municipality of Ferizaj.
The session brought together representatives from local public institutions, civil society organizations, and the private sector from the region, who actively contributed to valuable discussions on the implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection.
During the session, Commissioner Krenare Sogojeva Dërmaku presented the mandate of the Information and Privacy Agency and emphasized the legal obligations of institutions to protect citizens’ privacy, underlining the importance of a coordinated inter-institutional approach.
This information session was held within the framework of the project “Strengthening Personal Data Protection and Cybersecurity Across All Sectors in Kosovo,” supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Kosovo.
