Memorandum of Cooperation Signed Between the Information and Privacy Agency and the Center for Peace Journalism of “Aristotle” University in Thessaloniki

With the aim of strengthening academic and institutional cooperation in the field of personal data protection and access to public documents, the Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Krenare Sogojeva Dërmaku, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Executive Director of the Center for Peace Journalism at “Aristotle” University in Thessaloniki.
This Memorandum aims to establish a framework of collaboration for promoting the right of access to information, developing training programs, and organizing regional and international forums to advance discussions on digital rights and good governance. Cooperation will include the implementation of joint initiatives within European platforms such as Erasmus+ and YoungCell Scheme, professional trainings for public officials, academic research, and study visits to Greece.
The Memorandum marks an important step toward building sustainable cooperation between academic and public institutions, positioning the Information and Privacy Agency as an active partner in advancing human rights in the digital era. 🌍
