As part of the initial training program for newly appointed judges and prosecutors, the Information and Privacy Agency welcomed today the members of the 12th Generation, in cooperation with the Academy of Justice.
The Commissioner, Ms. Krenare Sogojeva-Dërmaku, presented the Agency’s core functions, with a particular emphasis on the protection of personal data and ensuring access to public documents within the context of judicial procedures.
Through practical case examples, participants were introduced to the fundamental principles of data protection, specifically the importance of careful handling of evidence and personal data during the phases of investigation and judicial review.
At the end of the meeting, Commissioner Sogojeva-Dërmaku reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to providing professional support and guidance in the proper implementation of the law, through a consistent and constructive cooperation with the justice system.
