Privacy Protection in the Media, a Priority of the Information and Privacy Agency

As part of strengthening cooperation with media stakeholders, Commissioner Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku received today the representatives of the Press Council of Kosovo, led by Chairperson Brikenda Rexhepi, Executive Director Imer Mushkolaj, and members Kreshnik Gashi and Labinot Leposhtica.

The meeting focused on cooperation between the Agency and the media in safeguarding the personal data of citizens, which remains one of the core priorities of the Information and Privacy Agency (IPA).

Collaboration with the Press Council of Kosovo is essential to ensuring the protection of personal data in the media, while at the same time guaranteeing the right of the public to accurate and fair information.
