The Agency for Information and Privacy continues the implementation of the plan for promoting the right to personal data protection and access to public documents.

Within the framework of informational meetings with the Mayors, the General Director of the AIP, Lumnije Demi, has held meetings with the Mayor of Zubin Potok, Izmir Zeqiri, the Mayor of North Mitrovica, Erden Atiq, the Mayor of Zveçan, Ilir Peci, and the Mayor of Leposavić, Lulzim Hetemi, to promote the right to personal data protection and access to public documents for the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.

In the meetings with the Mayors, discussions were held about the obligations of the municipalities to ensure access to public documents and the protection of personal data.

The Agency for Information and Privacy remains committed to collaborating with institutions in the field of law enforcement and providing professional support to ensure the implementation of access to public documents and the protection of citizens’ personal data.
